The Housing and Economic Land Availability Assessment (HELAA)
The Central Lincolnshire Joint
Strategic Planning Committee has decided to review the Central Lincolnshire
Local Plan. As part of this process, the Housing and Economic Land
Availability Assessment (HELAA) has now been published and is available to view
at the following link:
https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/514b06fdd84e4265ac9ca0662c01a059
The HELAA forms part of the evidence base for the emerging Central Lincolnshire Local Plan and assesses sites that have been submitted by landowners, developers or other interested parties to the Council for consideration for potential residential, employment, or mixed-use development in the local plan review.
The assessment considers a range of planning and environmental factors and provides information on the potential suitability, availability and achievability of sites.
It is important to remember that inclusion of sites in this HELAA does not confirm that sites are suitable to come forward for development and it has no bearing on any planning application that may be made on a site. Decisions on which sites will be taken forward for allocation will be made through the local plan process.
Should you have any questions about the HELAA, please contact the Central Lincolnshire Local Plans Team at talkplanning@central-lincs.org.uk
